They sang that this morning at church, and I felt the Lords presence for the first time in a long time. I am in a place right now where I feel overwhelmed by my emotions. Hurt. For some reason in the midst of my hurt I felt unreachable.
The song continues to say, "All things work together for my good. You make all things work together for my good."
Sometimes it is hard to see the good in the midst of so much sadness and hurt. It is hard to see spring in the midst of winter. I must fully rely on Gods promise that all things work together for my good. Whatever our situations are we need to know that God is with us today but He also is already in tomorrow.
I love the old hymn, In The Garden. It is so true to me in this moment. "He walks with me, and talks with me AND HE TELLS ME THAT I AM HIS OWN."
I want to come back to a place where I can honestly say I walk with the Lord.
